The Australia-Papua New Guinea Partnership: Shared Challenges and Opportunities
Australian High Commissioner, Bruce Davis, delivered the inaugural address at the PNG Update on November 3, 2016.
The PNG Update is a conference that covers contemporary economic, political and social issues in Papua New Guinea. This year’s theme is Sustaining Development (in PNG) beyond the Resources Boom.
During the speech, the High Commissioner reiterated the importance of the contemporary Papua New Guinea- Australia economic partnership.
The PNG update is supported by the Australian Government in partnership with the School of Business and Public Policy of The University of Papua New Guinea, the Asian Development Bank through the Pacific Economic Management Technical Assistance Project, the Lowy Institute and The Australian National University.
